Joining Our Community Groups
Beyond the app itself, Tech Assistant maintains a genuine community of users, reachable from the "Join our community" option in the More tab. The Join screen lays out clear, sensible ground rules before you jump in — covering things like introducing yourself by voice message with your name, location, and device when you join, asking one question at a time and allowing roughly a day for a response, avoiding unsolicited direct messages to other members, and keeping promotional content to the appropriate space rather than the general group. A toggle in the header lets you read these rules in Hindi or English, whichever you're more comfortable with.
Once you've read through the guidelines, two buttons at the bottom let you join directly: "Join WhatsApp Group" opens WhatsApp with a message already prepared confirming you've read and agree to the rules, and "Join Telegram Group" opens Telegram's own join link — pick whichever platform you already use and are comfortable with.
Beyond the community group itself, the wider More tab also links to a "Follow our channels" section listing several official YouTube channels — including ones specifically focused on blind tech content and shorter-form videos — along with dedicated Telegram and WhatsApp broadcast channels for anyone who'd rather follow along passively than join an active discussion group. A separate "Become a team member" link is available too, for anyone interested in getting more directly involved with Tech Assistant beyond just using the app.
