Video Metadata

Video Metadata is organized into two distinct tabs, giving you both a technical inspector and a genuine editor in one tool. The Specs Viewer tab is read-only, laying out everything the file itself reveals about how it was made: File Information covering format, size, duration, and total bitrate; Video Stream details including codec, resolution, aspect ratio, and frame rate; and Audio Stream details covering the audio codec, sample rate, and channel layout — a comprehensive technical snapshot of exactly what you're working with.

The Tags Editor tab, by contrast, is genuinely editable: Title, Artist, Album, Year, Description, Copyright, Composer, Publisher, and Language fields are all yours to fill in or change, alongside a Genre picker offering thirteen categories from Action and Comedy through Documentary, Tutorial, and Vlog. As you edit, a live "Metadata Mockup Preview" shows roughly how your tags would appear in a typical media player, so you're not editing blind.

Two buttons cover your options once you're satisfied: "Save Video Metadata" writes your edited tags into a new copy of the file without touching the underlying video or audio, while "Strip All Metadata" does the opposite, removing every embedded tag and timestamp entirely — genuinely useful if you're sharing a video and would rather not have personal details or creation dates travel along with it. Either way, both actions produce a fresh file, leaving your original untouched.
