Image Format Converter

Image Format Converter switches an image from one file format to another, useful whenever a specific app, website, or print service insists on a format your photo isn't currently in. Once you've picked your image, a small badge confirms your source format and updates to show your chosen target format as you make your selection. Four output cards are on offer, each with a short, honest note about what it's good for: JPEG, which supports an adjustable quality setting; PNG, which preserves transparency where JPEG cannot; WebP, a more modern, efficient format that needs a reasonably recent version of Android; and BMP, an uncompressed option that keeps full detail at the cost of a much larger file.

Choose JPEG specifically, and a further "JPEG Quality" choice appears — Best, High, Medium, or Low — letting you balance sharpness against file size for that format. Tap "Convert to [Format] & Save," name your file in the "Save Converted Image" dialog, and after a short "Converting Image..." step, a "Converted!" confirmation appears with Share and Image Hub options (note that for a BMP result, the confirmation skips showing an image preview, since BMP files are typically too large to render efficiently as a quick preview). Whatever format a recipient or upload form demands, this tool gets your existing photo there without needing a computer.
