How to Use our Split PDF

Step 1: Open the Split PDF feature.

First of all open Tech Assistant for Blind Application. After this go to PDF Manipulation Toolbox. Now double tap on Split PDF button under ORGANISE heading. Split into individual pages or custom ranges will be written along with it.

Step 2: Select PDF.

Now select your PDF by double tapping on Pick a PDF button. After selecting the PDF, its name, total Pages and File Size will appear on the screen. If you want to select a different PDF later, use the Change PDF button.

Step 3: Select Split Mode.

Now in Split mode choose any one option as per your requirement.

  • One file per page: With this option, every Page of PDF will be created as a separate PDF file.

  • Custom ranges: Select this option if only certain Pages are to be removed.

Step 4: Add Custom Page Ranges.

If you chose Custom ranges, enter the starting and ending Page Number in the From and To edit boxes provided in Range 1.

If you need to create more than one range, you can add as many new Ranges as you want by double tapping the Add another range button. If any additional Range is not required, it can be removed with the Remove range option.

Step 5: Split PDF and Save Files.

Now double tap on Split PDF button given below. After the process is completed Splitting Success Dialog will appear, in which you will get information about how many PDF Files have been successfully created.

If you want to save all the prepared PDF Files in your phone, then double tap on Save All. Use Share All option to share all PDF Files at once. After completion of work, you can close the Dialog with Close button.

After double tapping on Save All, all the PDF Files created will be saved in Internal Storage > Download > tech-assistant > pdf-splitter > [Original PDF Name] folder of your File Manager. After this, you can easily share these split PDF files anywhere as per your requirement.
