Adding Watermarks

Add Watermark stamps a diagonal line of text across your PDF's pages — the kind you'd use to mark a document as CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, or with your own name or organization, discouraging a copy from being mistaken for a final, official version. Start by entering your "Watermark text" — it defaults to "CONFIDENTIAL" if you're in a hurry — then adjust "Font size" and "Rotation" to control how large and how angled the stamp appears; a 45-degree diagonal is the default and the classic watermark look, but you can straighten it out or angle it differently if you prefer.

A Color section offers four quick presets — light grey, red, blue, and black — plus a "Custom hex" option if you want to match a specific brand color or shade precisely by typing its hex code directly. An "Apply to" choice decides scope: "All pages" stamps every page in the document, while "Specific pages" lets you type exactly which ones should carry the mark, using the same comma-and-dash format found throughout this toolbox.

Name your output file, or keep the default of watermarked.pdf, and tap "Add Watermark" to apply it. A "Watermark Success" confirmation lets you know your stamped document is ready. Worth knowing going in: this tool works with text watermarks only, stamped consistently across your chosen pages — there's currently no image-watermark option or separate opacity slider, so the color you pick (including how light or dark a grey you choose) is what determines how subtle or bold the final stamp appears.
