Every N MB: Split audio based on file size.

Step-by-Step Guide to use it

Step 1:

First of all, open Tech Assistant for Blind app in your phone. Next, go to the Audio Editor Hub section among the many features.

Step 2:

Now click on Audio Splitter feature, and select the audio file you want to slit.

Step 3:

Now select any one option as per your requirement in SPLIT BY option.

Option 1: Equal Parts

If you want to divide the entire audio into equal parts, select Equal Parts.

Determine the number of parts to be made in Number of Parts. Increase or decrease parts with the help of Decrease Parts and Increase Parts buttons. Below you will see information about how many parts your audio will be split into. Like 4 Equal Parts and approximately what duration will each part be, like Each Part ≈ 22.0sec. Once everything is set up, click on the Split Audio and Save Segments button.

Option 2: Every N Sec

If you want a new segment to be created after a certain time, then select the Every N Sec option.

Set the duration of each segment in Segment Length. Increase or decrease the time with the help of Decrease Duration and Increase Duration buttons. You will be able to see how many segments will be prepared in total. After this, click on Split Audio and Save Segments button. This option is best suited for dividing Online Classes, Podcasts, Lectures and Meetings according to specific time.

Option 3: Every N MB

If you want to divide the audio on the basis of file size, then select Every N MB option.

Set the maximum size of each segment in Max Size Per Segment. - Change the size with the help of Decrease Size and Increase Size buttons. - If the selected size is larger than the actual file, you will have to reduce the size. Below you will see how many segments will be ready. - After setting everything, click on Split Audio and Save Segments button. This option is useful when a platform has a file upload size limit.

step 4: Don't forget to save your audio after splitting it. You will find your edited file in your file manager.
