step 2: Select the audio file you want to trim. You will see the option of Button Step Size on the screen. By default it is set to Step size: 1 s. By tapping on it you can change the step size as per your need. Now you get many options in Select Button Step Size:

  • For small changes (Milliseconds): Select 1 ms, 5 ms, 50 ms, 100 ms, or 500 ms.
  • For medium changes (Seconds): Select 1 s, 5 s, 15 s, or 30 s.
  • For larger changes (Minutes): Select 1 m, 5 m, 15 m, 30 m, or 60 m. (Note: Whatever Step Size you choose, your marker buttons will move back and forth at the same speed.)

Step 3: Set the Start Marker (where the audio starts)

Go to the Start Marker section to select the beginning part of the audio:

  • If it is to be kept from the beginning, it will be at 0ms.
  • Double tap Increase start marker by [your step size] or Decrease start marker by [your step size] to increase or decrease the time.
  • Use Set start marker to 0:00 to jump straight to the beginning.
  • To go back quickly, click on Move start marker back 10 steps.

Step 4: Set the End Marker (where the audio ends)

Use the End Marker section to designate the end of the audio:

  • Tap Set end marker to end of file to go to the very end of the file.
  • Use the Increase end marker or Decrease end marker buttons to adjust the timing.
  • To move forward faster, select the option of Move end marker forward 10 steps.

Step 5: Use the Preview and Edit Tools

Tap the Preview Selection button to check your selected part. This will let you know how much audio has been selected. After this you get EDIT TOOLS, where you can do the following:

  • Apply fade in or out: To gradually increase or decrease the volume at the beginning and end.
  • Copy audio: To copy the selected part.
  • Silence the region: To completely silence the sound of the selected region.
  • Insert a block of silence: To add a separate block of silence at the start or end marker.

Step 6: Trim and Export

Once everything is perfect, double tap on the Trim and export as MP3 button at the bottom. Your edited audio will be saved in high quality MP3 format.
