Secure Vault Feature of Tech Assistant for Blind: Now your passwords, notes and documents will be completely safe!
In today's time, passwords of social media, banking, email and many other accounts, important notes, Debit or Credit card information and important documents are present in our mobile. In such a situation, it has become more important than ever to keep all this information safe. Keeping this need in mind, Secure Vault feature has been provided in Tech Assistant for Blind Application. This feature is specially designed for Visually Impaired Users and is fully compatible with screen readers like TalkBack.
Let us now know how to use Secure Vault.
To use Secure Vault, first install Tech Assistant for Blind Application from Google Play Store. After this sign in with your Google Account. After signing in, you will see Secure Vault among all the features available in the application. Just open it by tapping on it. When you open Secure Vault for the first time, you see the option of "Secure Your Vault with Biometric". After tapping on Enable, authenticate your fingerprint. After successful authentication, your secure vault will be secured and its main page will open. After this you get four tabs of Password, Notes, Cards and Documents. By default the Password tab remains selected.
Password Tab
In this tab you can keep all your important passwords safe. Add New Password button is found below, by tapping on which you can easily add a new password.
Notes Tab
If you want to keep any private or confidential notes safe, this tab is for you. Add New Note button lets you save your important notes safely.
Cards Tab
This tab has been specially created to keep important information related to Debit and Credit cards safe. You can easily add the required card details by tapping on Add New Card.
Documents Tab
This tab is given to keep your important documents safe. You can keep the information of Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License or other important documents safe here. You can easily add your required documents by tapping on the Add New Document button given below. Just below these four tabs you get the option of Search. The search will also change according to the tab selected, so that necessary information can be found immediately. Along with this, All, Social, Banking, Work, Shopping, Email and other filters have also been provided, so that the information can be viewed in a systematic manner. On the main screen of Secure Vault, the Lock option is also visible at the top along with the heading. You can unlock your Vault by tapping on it if required. Whereas, in More Options, useful options like Activity, Password Generator, Backup, Health and Remove Security are available. If you want to remove security, use Remove Security. After this this option changes to Set Security, with the help of which Fingerprint Security can be re-installed. In this app you also get the setting of Backup & Restore. You have to click on your profile above and then go to Backup & Restore and turn on Secure Vault. This allows you to backup all items and restore them in a single click when you switch phones.
